Help with your week
Start with your household, choose dinners, then make the shopping list. Here are the most common tasks, step by step.
Set up your household
The household drives everything else: who eats, what they like and what must stay off the plate.
- Open Household.
- Add each person who eats, with a name, whether they are an adult or a child, and their age.
- Enter allergies, lactose, likes and dislikes for each person.
- Choose how you want to see amounts under Your units, for example grams for everything or dl, tbsp and tsp.
- Want to share the household with another adult? Invite their email address under Adults with an account.
Edit household membersPlan the week
The week's menu collects your dinners. Check the ingredients yourself if there are allergies, because the markers are a guide.
- Open the week's menu.
- Add a recipe to a day and set the number of portions, or ask for a dinner suggestion.
- Swap out a dinner that does not suit. The recipe shows if anyone in the household has an allergy or dislikes something in it.
- After dinner you can rate the recipe, so next week's suggestions improve.
Plan this weekMake the shopping list
The shopping list is built from the week's dinners.
- Choose Generate shopping list in the week planner. The new list opens directly.
- Items are grouped by aisle, and the amounts follow the portions you chose for each dinner.
- Check what you already have at home, and tick items off as you shop.
Open shopping listsCook one step at a time
Cooking mode shows one instruction at a time, so you do not have to scroll with wet hands.
- Open a recipe and choose Start cooking.
- Move between the steps. The amounts for your household are written into every step.
- Change the text size so you can read the steps from across the kitchen.
- Start a timer on any step that includes a time.

You can add recipes in three ways. Imported recipes are private to you at first and show where they came from. The import uses a language model to read the content, so always check the amounts and ingredients before you save.
- Open Import recipe.
- Choose Link and paste the address of a recipe on a website. If we find nothing on a social media link, you can paste the caption instead.
- Choose Text if you have the recipe as text. Paste it in, at least 20 characters.
- Choose Photo and upload up to six pictures of a recipe page, for example from a cookbook or a handwritten recipe. The photos are kept private to you.
- Review the preview with title, ingredients and steps. Fix anything that went wrong and save the recipe.
